If the data files or folders are NOT successfully synchronized, proceed with the following steps (Step 10) below:

Step 10: Return to OneDrive Cloud and click “Add new”. Choose whether to upload ‘Files’ or ‘Folder’ based on your needs (Photo A). Browse and select the data accordingly (Photo B).

Important Note: Please avoid uploading all your data at once. It's generally advisable to aim for file sizes between 1GB to 5GB per transfer, as this is manageable for most typical internet connections and upload scenarios.

OneDrive Symbols/Icons:

  1. Circular arrows (Synchronization in Progress): OneDrive is currently synchronizing new files between the cloud and your local PC.
  2. Blue Cloud Icon: The file is stored exclusively online, saving space on your PC.
  3. Green Checkmark Icon: When you open an online-only file, it downloads to your device, becoming a locally accessible file that can be opened without an Internet connection.
  4. Red Exclamation Mark Icon: This symbol usually indicates a synchronization problem, an error with the file, or a conflict. It could mean that the file failed to sync properly or there's some other issue preventing successful synchronization.
